How it works

Die-cutting is a manufacturing process performed on specialised machinery to stamp out large amounts of identical shapes from a material. The machine uses a customised ‘die’ consisting of sharp blades around the required shape and then is mounted on a plate. The die is pressed into the tape, and the specifications of the shape are left behind. Similar to the process of using a cookie cutter.
